6X the Life of Standard
SA6000 was put up against a standard chromium carbide overlay plate within an ore processing chute.
The 8mm on 10mm SA6000 lasted 2,795 hours and processed 7.09 million tons of ore.
The 17mm on 10mm standard chromium carbide overlay plate lasted an average of 949 hours and processed 2.48 million tons of ore.
This test proved out a 6X wear life increase!
